- Irma Milstein, aged 95, passed away on March 12, 2021. She was a loving wife to the late Paul Milstein and devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Irma’s leadership and philanthropy were focused on education and learning, science, and medicine; especially programs that increased access and brought these initiatives to life for the broader community.

Paul Milstein died, at the age of 88, in his beloved New York City on August 9, 2010. His philanthropy was characterized by The New York Times as “immense” and he is mourned by the many hospitals, universities, communal and cultural organizations that benefited from his largesse.
Paul’s son, Howard Milstein, eulogized the indelible mark that his father left on the city and the people that he loved through monumental building projects and high impact philanthropy.
